About BarkLinks
Most Cavapoo advice online is scraped, padded, and written by people who've never lived with one. BarkLinks is the opposite — one owner, one dog, and the honest version of what we've learned.
Why this site exists
Before getting a dog for the first time, I did what a lot of people do — months of obsessive research. And I kept hitting the same wall: page after page of thin, samey, clearly AI-spun "guides" that all said the same vague things and none of which sounded like they'd ever met a Cavapoo. When Kimi, our F1b Cavapoo, finally came home, the gap between that content and real life was obvious.
BarkLinks is the resource I wish I'd found: practical, specific, and honest about the trade-offs. It's written from day-to-day life with Kimi and backed by careful research — the stuff I actually needed, in one place.
Who writes it
Everything here is written by Kimi's Human — a genuine first-time owner, not a vet or a breeder. That's deliberate: these guides are written from the perspective of someone going through it now, who researched hard before committing and shares what's actually working. Where a topic is medical, I say so plainly and point you to your vet, because a well-read owner is no substitute for professional care.
How we handle recommendations
Some links to products are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's what keeps BarkLinks free and ad-free. We only ever suggest things we'd genuinely put in front of Kimi — nothing is recommended just because it pays.
